Twilight smelled the air. Yep, like she thought, she had hit him. She could see some blood on the wolf's fur, but she still didn't knew where had she hit him and she also didn't knew if he was hurt enough or if he was completely capable, just like before she bit him.
And apparently, the family thing wasn't going to work out. He didn't really seemed to care much so she had to try anything else. Something that would really affect him psychologically. By the way he had talked about his mother, it seemed like he didn't cared a thing about her, like his mother had never really helped him or like she had betrayed him or something like that. Well, she couldn't know, since she knew very little about him.

But then, for a moment, something seemed to change in him. The 'mom issue' did worked out after all. Twilight grinned. She was still the Twilight she herself didn't knew, but now she couldn't turn back. Maybe in a couple of hours, if she calmed down, she would return to the real Twilight, the fae known for being the Beta of the powerful Ghazi pack. But right now, she wasn't that wolf. And the wolf standing in front of her wasn't the Beta male either. He was a Light wolf invading 'her' lands and he had to be taken down, no matter what.

" Besides, you could say I hated her, Being a traitor"
So she was right; she had betrayed him after all. But what happened after she betrayed them? Killed them? Left them? Kidnapped someone? The fea had no idea but she didn't cared at all. At least, this topic had made some effect.
The wolf stood up and growled. He was reacting. Twilight got ready. His aura was much more intense by now. For a Light, she could feel a lot of energy in him.
" Something you have in common with her huh, your 'darks', you pathetic excuses for wolves."
- Huh?!
Twilight got confused with what the wolf had said. She got the 'Dark's thing'; she was a proud Dark wolf. But traitor?! Twilight wasn't a traitor and would never be one. She greeted her teeth and growled, ears pulled back and muscles tense once again.

In the next moment, everything happened so fast Twilight wasn't even able to respond. As soon as she noticed, she had been knocked to the ground. Oh no, he didn't! She was getting pretty annoyed, again! She growled loudly as a sign of warn. From this perspective she could see the blood running throw his black and shiny fur. Apparently, she had hit a leg but by his moves, it didn't seemed to affect him much.
Another growl, followed by a loud bark, came from Twilight's throat. He was teasing her and it was seriously annoying her.
But then, Twilight could swear the Light wolf was almost collapsing. Maybe her bite did affected him. Or maybe it was a completely different thing. But she took advantage of this and got up quickly, positioning herself in a defensive mode.

She could hear thunders in the distance. Soon a storm would come. Twilight focused on the wolf before her once again. His aura was much, much stronger than before. Birds flew away and a deer ran. It was almost as if they could feel it themselves. This wasn't the same wolf from before. I mean, he was the same, but something seemed to have changed.
A loud thunder hit and Twilight's mind snapped. In front of her stood the same looking wolf but for some reason she feared him, like she had only feared one wolf; her previous partner. In that time, she had tried to defend herself and her cubs. But now she wasn't going to make the same mistake. She was going to fight. That wolf had been the first and last to make her feel afraid of someone.
Twilight smirked once again, thinking to herself.
'You won't win, not this time!'

So, for now, there were a few things she knew about this wolf. She knew he came from Light Lands, she realized he was pretty strong physically, had good self-control and knew when to attack and she knew that his mother did had some importance in his life. Not in a positive way, it seemed. That was a bit uncommon for a Light wolf; they were always so lovey-dovey among them all. Besides, it also seemed like he had a lot of energy stored inside his body, perhaps a little to much for her. Sure, Twilight was a strong female, but she knew that, as strong as she might be, a male is always stronger. She fought practically all her life to defend that females were also strong and she accomplished to show it in most of the cases. But each case was a different case and this wolf seemed like was going to give her a hand full.

But just like she had found out a few things about him, she had made some topics about her pretty obvious as well. She had demonstrated and he guessed that himself that she couldn't stand 'looked down upon', he knew that she was a proud Dark and wouldn't let some wolf invade 'her' territory and some of his actions remembered her way to much of her ex partner. And the current wolf standing in front of her was just like him; a bastard and she had to take him down.

Then, a thunder and the wolf's howling almost seemed like one. But this time, Twilight wasn't going to be that careless and just let him make a move. Yeah, one thing she had never said to anyone but unfortunately, a ccertain someone got knowledge of, was how storms scared her. She knew she wasn't supposed to be scared of anything, but the truth was that she was extremely afraid of thunder storms. Maybe due to the noise, maybe it was the fact that some thunders caused fires, she couldn't really tell. But this time, she had to focus on the wolf, and not in the d**n storm.
Once she noticed, she had him by her side, but she wasn't taken aback; she was ready for something like this. So, as he pushed her, she jumped to the side. Or at least, that was her intention. Suddenly, she felt a strong bite on the back of her neck. And like she thought so, he was strong.
'nuts!' she thought. Since he was grabbing the back of her neck and gripping her with his claws, she didn't have much to move around. She had to come up with something so she could free herself.

Then, a loud snap. The sound of a three falling. And followed to that, his grip on her tightened. Now it was beginning to hurt. But she knew something was going on with him. Why did he suddenly did that? It seemed like his mind was on constant alert. But Twilight had to think of something, and as fast as possible. If he continued to tighten his grip, she wouldn't last for more two fallen threes.
And what she thought of was an old trick but it always worked with her. It would hurt her but she had to free herself. She gathered strength in her legs' muscles and like an explosion of energy, she pushed all four legs and the same time, lifting her and the wolf; not that high but high enough so she could turn around and release herself. Landing a few feets away from the male, she was starting to feel the pain on the back of her neck and a warm fluid rushing throw it. The problem here was that, by doing what she had just did, the enemy still had her skin and fur on his teeth, thanks to his tight grip. But at least, she was free now but, for how long?...

Twilight was pretty strong for a female. Stronger than most of feas actually. But her body was just like any other wolf. She had fur, muscles, strong paws and sharp teeth; she also had blood running throw her veins, of course. But this certain fluid right now was causing her troubles. The wound on her neck was deeper than she thought so and she was becoming dizzy due to the blood loss. She fought to stay up. She had to focus. In her state, she wouldn't be able to handle another strike like the one before.

"I don't take kindly to your kind, you plague this land, you think your the true owners of this land, but your not. Your mere specs of dust, left in the wind to get lost forever"
Twilight growled, but grinned right after. Even though she was dizzy, she wasn't going to let him know that or it would definitely be her last fight. She stood up, fighting the pain in her back.
- That sounds like something I would say; something like a Dark wolf would say, not a Lightie like you. You think you have the right to invade our lands and say things about ruling certain lands. Guess what?! We are the rulers here. And you know why? Because we're stronger. We are the specs of dust that sticked to the ground where the wind left us and fought for that same land. And I will defend this land, no matter what. Even if I had to give my life for it, even though I don't think it will be necessary...
Twilight smirked deviously. She could barely see the wolf. Her sigh was blurred and spinning but she stayed in her spot. She wasn't really that talkative but she just felt like giving him an answer. She believed in every word she said, and she would truly do her best to protect this land but at this point, there was blood under her, blood that came from her wound in the back of her neck. She did hit him, but he still walked and jumped like nothing happened.

In a matter of seconds, the wolf disappeared from her eye sight. She took a defensive position but she could barely see a rock right in front of her. After that, all she saw was fur; the wolf gave her the sense he was going to attack her and then he backed away. Twilight barked, giving her a huge headache. At his next move, she tried to bite him again, but she was slower than usual thanks to the blood loss and he was a fast wolf. She had failed her target.
She shook her head, regaining some of her sight and was finally able to see the wolf's siluete, which was way better than what she saw before.
"Let me be the one to put your useless life to rest"
The fea growled loudly, waiting for his attack. She was a fighter, but she was also realistic and she knew she wasn't going to be able to avoid his attack at the speed he was coming at her. She would have to make sure she wasn't going to get that injured. She could even try to bite back, like making a swift movement to the side and biting right after. But she realized that he was way faster than her.

But then, everything seemed to stop around her. The wolf disappeared from her vision to be replaced by a jet black wolf. And the next thing she noticed, or part of what she could see, was the enemy wolf being held by the unknown black wolf. Who was that new wolf?
- Hey...
Twilight wanted to know who it was, if it was a he or a she, she wanted to demand answers from this 'rescuer'. She didn't liked being saved or that others had pity of her. She hated it. But as she took a step toward the black wolf, everything turned as dark as night and she collapsed. Her body had given in to the pain and lack of blood.
When Twilight opened her eyes, a couple of minutes after collapsing, she saw that, a few meters ahead of her, was Darc, the male Beta of the pack. But he seemed to be kind of asleep as well. Only then the fea realized that the wolf she had been fighting the entire time had been none less than Darc.
Twilight tried her best to get up and after falling a few times, she made it. Leaning to a few threes and boulders, she made her way to Darc's side. The pain on her neck was horrible, but at least now she could see the surroundings. The male Beta had blood on him but she didn't knew how bad he was. He was still breathing; good thing. But she still didn't knew who was the dark wolf previously.
As much as Twilight wanted to take him out of there, she didn't had the strength to drag him to the den. But she had strength enough to drag him under the three, to protect them both from the storm arriving. The fea howled strongly, giving the location of her position. Some help would be good.
Rain drops started falling as Twilight did her best to push Darc under one of the threes. She knew he was strong, he was going to survive. She didn't know how bad he was, since she barely saw the other wolf.
'Better not wake him up right now...I think I'm going to get some sleep myself as well...'
And in that very moment, Twilight fell asleep.
